“Marla demonstrates her deceptively graceful

draftsmanship coupled with a true elan of
bold, decisive, and sweeping brushwork
which elegantly describes her subjects
with economy and painterly energy.
Her plein aire paintings have an
effervescent liveliness
that speaks to the urgency of her subjects.”
